Over the past week, nationwide there has been soaring temperatures and sweltering heat resulting in severe thunderstorms.
These terrible storms have left many without power, and
downed trees and power lines in many parts of upstate New York, Pennsylvania,
Ohio and Missouri. Many people are still without power from these storms!
Although the heat had been spreading quickly through the
East Coast, there was also something else! Smoke from the various wildfires out
west was rapidly moving toward the east!
