631-993-1039 / 516-659-4716

October 31st is around the corner, time to go for Treat Or Treat! Halloween is one of those special times when people use the best of their abilities to show their imagination and creativity. Halloween can also be a headache for some, because they may not be as creative as their neighbors, that's why this time we will give you some ideas on how to decorate some of your trees. We always see beautiful houses going all out there to impress kids so lets make our yards kid friendly in a economic way!

The 1st idea is creating flying ghosts !
we need: markers, strand, and stuffing!

This is a great: Grab some small white plastic bags, turn them around so the open part is in the bottom and draw ghost faces with some markers, make sure the markers will last because these ghosts will be expose to the weather. Try using different colors like red, black and yellow (can't color much because ghosts are white) after you are done stuff the bottom but not too much because you need to create a head then tie. The body will be empty. After this you can hang them from your tree branches. This is great for small kids since is not complicated for them. You can stuff this guys with everything from old newspapers to some old cloth you have.

The Second Idea is the enchanted trees !
This is more simpler if you don't have much time. This creates a great Illusions of a talking tree and will surprise some. You can go to Amazon and find an intensive number of decorations for your trees in a very economic way. You decide whether your trees are scary of friendly looking. The Second Option  for a tree face would be also finding some transparent bags and paint faces on them then tie them around the tree, what would give them an extra twist is using Glow In the Dark Paint so at night they'll make an statement.

The Third and last Idea is Spider Webs!

You can go to your local party store where you find decorations, the ones that specialize on home decoration also or even online and buy spider webs. Some spider webs are better than others make sure you find the ones that stretch and last longer (depending when you start decorating) Spider webs are probably the easiest and less expensive than other decorations. You can also place plastic or fluorescent spiders here and there to make it more believable and sensational. This can definitely change the look of your home.
These 3 options on how to decorate your trees will show your Halloween spirit to the fullest!

Is Your Dad A Handyman? Here Are Some Father's Day Gift Ideas!

631-993-1039 / 516-659-4716

Is your dad a handyman? Is he the type you can always find puttering around the garage and constantly looking for a project to do? If you’re looking for the perfect Father’s Day gift for your handyman dad here are some great creative ideas he will definitely love!

Griffin Survivor Case: If your dad likes to crank up the tunes on his iPhone while he works in the garage, the Griffin Survivor case ($50) will ensure his expensive smartphone stays safe. Griffin’s cases are designed to meet U.S. and U.K. military standards for toughness. Once locked down in one of these cases, the phone or tablet is drop-proof up to 6 feet, and resistant to water and dust. So whether your dad is refinishing furniture, hosing down the car or just a little bit clumsy, the Survivor case will ensure that he doesn’t have to stop the music to get the job done.

Craftsman Bottle Opener: Sears’ Craftsman tools are well known for their rock solid construction and unlimited lifetime warranty. Now that company offers a bottle opener ($7) with the same distinctive handle that you’ll find on Craftsman screwdrivers. It’s the perfect fit for your dad’s tool box. After all, your dad deserves to kick back and crack open a cold one after a long day of fixing things.

Ryobi One+: Ryobi’s line of One+ tools allows you to purchase a single lithium-ion battery to power a whole family of power tools, including a drill, hedge trimmer, reciprocating saw and dozens more. Battery-powered tools have really improved in recent years, offering far more power and a longer life than ever before. However, carrying around a separate battery for each task and tool is cumbersome. Ryobi solves that by making a single, interchangeable battery that works in every tool, making your toolbox a lot lighter and less crowded. It’s the perfect gift for the handyman dad that likes to fix things on the go.
